2012 Summer Camp
This summer’s focus will be MUSIC AND CREATIVE WRITING! Creative Kids will learn to sing as a group, both in unison and in harmony, incorporating movement. They will also learn vocal techniques and breathing exercises and be guided through the creative writing process through various activities. Whether a song, a story, a prayer, a poem or a journal entry, writing is extremely therapeutic and can help us or someone else get through the difficult situations we all face in life. We work things out in our mind easier when we write through them on paper. Take the Book of Psalms for example! David would often begin his writings feeling mentally exhausted, angry, or confused! But by the end of it he was usually praising God for what he knew to be the only truth! God is always good and always takes care of His children! Your child will leave camp with a stronger sense of who they are in Christ because it is His example we will be learning to model! (And boy is our God creative!)
