At Creative Kid Company, your child will grow to love quality time spent with God first thing in the morning! Psalm 119:147 says, “I rise early before the sun comes up. I cry out for help and put my hope in your word”. We won’t be up before the sun but we will certainly learn to put our hope in God’s Word early in the morning! In addition to prayer and praise kids will participate in fun interactive Bible lessons. After Arts and Crafts we head outdoors to explore and be inspired by God’s very own masterpiece, nature! Kids learn about the creative writing process through a variety of activities both individually and in partnership settings! We’ll also have picnics outside on the grass! During music, creative kids will learn songs that they will perform and record at the end of each week! Wednesdays are creative cooking days when we prepare our own lunch! And there is always a special guest performance at least one day during each session where campers will get to hear first hand from someone who eats, breathes and sleeps music! Campers also have the opportunity for stage time and are encouraged to bring their talents to the group in “show and tell” fashion. Play an instrument, sing a song, do a dance, recite a poem, show a craft they’re proud of, or anything their heart feels passionately enough about to share with the group! Finally, closing prayer and worship is a time to thank the Lord for the days events, the blossoming friendships, and to offer back what we’ve been given!
